The coach will guide students in developing skills in coding, engineering, problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity while preparing for local and regional robotics competitions.Responsibilities:~Plan and facilitate regular team practices and meetings.~Teach and support students in robotics design, programming, and troubleshooting.~Foster collaboration, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.~Coordinate participation in competitions, including scheduling, registration, and supervision.~Communicate with students, parents, and school administration regarding team progress and needs.~Work with Business and Academic Office to secure additional funding to help grow the team through grant opportunities and/or possible fundraisingQualifications:~Experience in STEM education, robotics, engineering, or related fields (preferred but not required).~Knowledge of FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) preferred.Application: Apply online at http://tech.mtpleasant.k12.mi.us/mpps/HR/applitrak.htmlMT.
