Kitchen Steward - Full Time - Overnight
Job Type Full-time Description Primary Purpose As a Kitchen Steward, you will be responsible for the cleanliness of the dining room as well as set up banquet functions. Shift In this role, you will work 6:00pm - 3:00am Principal Duties & ResponsibilitiesReceive soiled dinnerware, flatware, and glassware, place items according to size and likeness on automatic dishwasher conveyor belt.Remove washed dinnerware, flatware, and glassware from automatic dishwasher and stack them according to size and likeness for future use, return items not satisfactorily cleaned for a second wash.Sweep and mop the kitchen floor, scrub the wall and trashcan, pick up trash in kitchen and loading dock area.Dismantle stove, oven, grill, and broiler on a daily basis or as required by the Kitchen Steward, scrape each item with a wire brush and apply cleaning solution.Clean ventilation unit inside and out, a re-light each unit as requiredMaintain written record of all equipment cleaned and those needing special attention.Keep assigned station stocked in china, silver, glasses, and condiments, clean and refill condiment container, and keep guest side of line clean.Maintain cleanliness of dining room including tables, chairs, counters, beverage dispensers and fill ice bins with ice, disassemble and reassemble machinery for cleaning purposes.Set-up banquet function for guest use in assigned area throughout property.Notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, and alleged thefts, notify manager on duty of any guest concerns or disputes that cannot be readily resolved.
