This role supports daily dining operations, service standards, team training, scheduling, and overall dining room presentation.The ideal candidate has a strong hospitality mindset, enjoys leading and developing a team, and understands the importance of creating a welcoming and high-quality dining experience in a senior living environment.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and support front-of-house dining team members to deliver excellent service.Oversee dining room service, setup, cleanliness, presentation, and overall ambiance.Ensure team members follow service etiquette, hospitality standards, safety guidelines, and food handling practices.Support scheduling, training, onboarding, and ongoing development of dining staff.Partner closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth communication between the dining room and kitchen.Monitor resident satisfaction and respond to questions, concerns, and service needs in a timely and professional manner.Assist with special events, private dining, community functions, and resident programming as needed.Maintain a positive, professional, and service-focused presence with residents, families, guests, and team members.Help ensure compliance with community policies, sanitation standards, and regulatory requirements.QualificationsPrevious leadership experience in hospitality, restaurant, dining services, senior living, or a related service environment preferred.Strong communication, organization, and team leadership skills.Ability to train, motivate, and hold team members accountable to service standards.Passion for hospitality and creating meaningful experiences for seniors and their families.Knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling, or senior living dining is a plus, but not required.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position.Annual flu vaccine required; medical and religious exemptions accepted.Equal Opportunity EmployerSolera Senior Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
