This role is responsible for inventory management, pricing strategy, merchandising, profitability, and team leadership while delivering an exceptional customer experience aligned with the Mullinax brand.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all used vehicle inventory including purchasing, appraisals, pricing, and agingSet competitive pricing strategies based on market data and dealership goalsOversee trade-in appraisals and acquisition of used vehiclesEnsure proper merchandising of used vehicles both on the lot and onlineMonitor and improve used vehicle gross profit, turn rate, and inventory levelsWork closely with the sales, F&I, and service departments to maximize profitabilityCoach, train, and support sales staff on used vehicle processes and product knowledgeEnsure compliance with all dealership policies and state/federal regulationsAnalyze performance reports and implement strategies to improve resultsMaintain high customer satisfaction and resolve escalated customer concerns when neededQualificationsPrevious experience as a Used Car Manager or Assistant Used Car Manager (preferred)Strong knowledge of used vehicle market trends, pricing tools, and inventory systemsProven leadership and team management skillsExcellent negotiation, communication, and organizational abilitiesAbility to analyze financial reports and performance metricsValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation packageSupportive leadership and growth opportunitiesModern tools and systems for inventory and market analysisA positive, performance-driven dealership culture
