Experienced Mold Setter

Our project engineers will be with you every step of the way from design feasibility, CAD design and design optimization for injection molding, Mold Flow analysis, plastic resin, appearance and surface texture, color, prototype, mold design and build to the end product and throughout production. EPC is currently looking for experienced Mold Setters. Perform mold setup as required by production scheduling in a timely manner while abiding by all current safety practices and procedures. Maintain the highest quality work to continuously insure customer satisfaction Have at least 3 years experience in setting molds Verify all mold bolts, clamps, water lines, knockouts, air lines DME, appropriate nozzle are applied and secure Complete all required mold change paperwork Clean molds at the beginning of the each shift Help clean machines and keep facility clean Verify all process parameters are correctly applied to press and auxiliary equipment Trouble-shoot processing problems as needed Remove from the press area all hand tools, hoses, lines and miscellaneous items not required Remove any accumulated grease, oil, water, finger prints from the press before advising production of press readiness Responsible for replacing all tools in required storage areas Perform minor maintenance on molds, presses, hoppers and dryers as applicable and document actions in appropriate manuals, logs, or books Operate forklift Operate overhead crane Have necessary tools to perform the job upon hire Help material handler as needed(if there are no tools to set) Help give press operators breaks as needed Be able to lift 40 lbs Other duties as assigned by supervisor Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Weekends as needed Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Plastics injection molding: 1 year (Preferred) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Night Shift (Preferred) Overnight Shift (Preferred) Work Location: In person
