Inventory Control Associate

The Associate Inventory Control is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory in the distribution center.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesCapable of operating and handling RF equipmentValidate accuracy of shipped items within the DCVerify receiving/shipping documents and accurate product countsValidate accuracy of locations through cycle countingWork daily with computer and possible Microsoft Office toolsOperate packaging and material movement equipmentAdditional duties as assigned by managerScopeOrganizational Scope – All US locations/Single Category/Region/District/Distribution CenterRequirementsJob Qualifications – Education And ExperienceHigh school diploma/GED equivalentExperience in warehouse environment preferred.Understand product description, SKU and PO numbersBasic mathematic skills along with higher end understanding of formulas.Reading comprehension and ability to communicate in writing.Ability to recognize process improvement areas and implementation of new processes.Ability to work with multiple departments while performing duties.Good communication skillsPhysical RequirementsStand or walk continuously for up to 8 hours per dayBending, squatting, kneeling, twisting and reaching heights on an intermittent basis for up to 12 hours per dayGrasping, pushing and pulling of materials on an intermittent basis for up to 12 hours per dayReaching and working above and below the shoulder level on an intermittent basis for up to 12 hours per dayWork with and around forklifts, conveyer systems and hazardous machineryWork closely in a team environment to complete daily tasks and goalsThe anticipated salary range for this position is $21.50 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
