Architectural Stone Sales SpecialistPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Architectural Stone Sales Specialist to grow channel and distribution partnerships for our portfolio of premium natural stones, including marble, granite, quartzites and other luxury stone materials. The Specialist will drive revenue through strategic relationships with architects, designers, fabricators, distributors and national accounts, translating technical stone knowledge into compelling solutions for high-end residential, commercial and hospitality projects. This role blends technical product expertise with consultative selling and territory development to expand market share and ensure exceptional customer experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a sales plan to grow channel and distribution sales within assigned territory, focusing on architects, designers, fabricators, premium distributors and national accounts.Build and maintain strong relationships with key specifiers (architects, interior designers) to secure stone specifications in high-end residential, commercial and hospitality projects.Provide technical product knowledge and consultative support on marble, granite, quartzites and other luxury stone, including suitability, finishes, tolerances, and installation considerations.Collaborate with distribution partners and fabricators to ensure product availability, pricing alignment, lead-time management and quality control through the supply chain.Conduct targeted outreach, product presentations, samples and continuing-education sessions for architects, design firms and trade partners to increase awareness and specification.Manage RFPs, bids and specification submissions, working cross-functionally with operations and project management to deliver accurate quotes and timely fulfillment.Track sales pipeline, forecast revenue, prepare territory reports and analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies.Represent the company at trade shows, industry events and design forums; coordinate showroom and sample displays to showcase stone collections.Serve as a technical escalation point on projects, troubleshooting site or fabrication issues and liaising with production to resolve quality or logistics concerns.Champion brand standards and marketing initiatives by providing feedback on product development, pricing strategies and promotional campaigns.Qualifications2+ years of B2B sales experience in the natural stone, surfacing or building materials industry with demonstrated success in channel or distribution sales.Proven experience specifying and selling marble, granite, quartzites or other luxury stone products to architects, designers, fabricators and distributors.Strong knowledge of architectural specifications, stone properties, fabrication and installation processes; ability to provide technical recommendations.Established network of contacts within architecture, interior design, fabrication and distribution channels preferred.Excellent consultative selling, presentation and negotiation skills; comfortable leading technical discussions and training sessions.Ability to manage complex accounts, multiple projects and long sales cycles with strong organizational and CRM management skills.Willingness to travel within territory and attend industry events and trade shows as required.Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Architecture or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience accepted.BenefitsUncapped commissionMedical/Vision/Dental401KPTO Email Your Resume In Word ToTim.Mestrich@CyberCoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
