Presco Engineering has a 45+ year track record of success in this highly competitive field.Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead complex engineering programs for high-impact clients in the defense and mission critical sectors. This role is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of multiple projects, ensuring delivery of innovative, compliant, and high-quality solutions that meet stringent regulatory and operational requirements.The ideal candidate brings strong technical acumen, disciplined program management, and the ability to operate in highly regulated environments.Key Responsibilities:Program Leadership & ExecutionLead multiple concurrent engineering programs from concept through delivery and sustainmentDefine program scope, objectives, schedules aligned with client requirementsEnsure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining customer expectationsClient & Stakeholder ManagementServe as primary point of contact for clientsBuild and maintain strong relationships with program stakeholdersTranslate client needs into actionable program requirementsIdentify new opportunities with existing clientsRegulatory & Compliance OversightMaintain compliance with contractual, quality, and safety requirementsSupport audits, documentation, and certification processesCross-Functional CoordinationCollaborate with engineering, quality, regulatory, and operations teamsFacilitate design reviews, risk assessments, and milestone eventsRisk & Financial ManagementIdentify, assess, and mitigate program risksManage program budgets, forecasts, and financial performanceReport on KPIs, program health, and progress to senior leadershipProcess ImprovementImplement best practices in program managementContinuously improve delivery processes, documentation, and client satisfactionRequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience5-10+ years of program or project management experience in engineering consulting or technical environmentsExperience working with defense (DoD) and/or industry clientsStrong knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, MIL-STD, ITAR, FCC, UL)Proven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary engineering programsExcellent oral and written communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsSome travel is requiredBenefitsCompetitive base salary 100% employer-paid health, disability insurance, and life insuranceOptional dental, and vision coverage401(k) with 3% company contributionPTO + paid holidaysHybrid or on-site depending on client/program needsSupportive, collaborative team cultureOpportunities for advancement as Presco grows
