Hotel Night Auditor / Overnight Front Desk Agent 11pm-7amResidence Inn by Marriott & Courtyard by Marriott Central Islip, NYSummary of PositionFirst impressions mean everything! What you do the second a guest walks through the doors, sets the expectation for the rest of their stay. As an Overnight Front Desk Reception agent, you'll have every opportunity to "make someone's stay", by making their day.As an Overnight Front Desk / Night Auditor, you will:Work the desk during our overnight hoursDemonstrate welcoming hospitality to our overnight check insPerform night audit functionsDemonstrate a true desire to satisfy the needs of othersEnsure all aspects of hotel accounting for all areas of hotel operations are processed correctly and accurately recorded, protecting the brand and asset against liability and fraud.Audit, balance, post and report on front desk, rooms, and all food and beverage outlets cash and credit operations and reset all registers to ensure accurate, timely function and optimal operations management.Provide rooms management with a clear picture of their performance using the data gatheredRun the night audit final, after ensuring all revenue is in balancePerform other duties as assignedEarnings Range: $17-$18 an hour *Actual rate offered will be based upon job title, experience, location, and position.BenefitsAdvancement Opportunities - We promote from within!Medical for FT Associates401(k)Paid vacation timeFlexible schedulesTeammate Assistance FundStabilityCompetitive WagesFun, Energetic Work EnvironmentKeys to SuccessMust be 18 years or olderCustomer service experience is required, preferably in a hotel or related fieldMust have a high school diploma or equivalentMust be able to work various shifts per weekHours for this position are 11PM to 7AM, and will include a varied shift schedule through the weekAn Accounting background is preferredAttention to detail and the ability to compile facts and figuresIn addition to general office equipment, you will regularly operate Briad systems and softwareAbility to communicate effectively and courteously over the telephone and in person; strong command of the English language including speaking, reading, and writingAbility to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs); may occasionally require lifting luggage up to 50 poundsAbout UsThe Briad Group is rapidly expanding to serve many hospitality needs.
