Assistive Technology Professional (ATP)
Job Description:We are looking for an Assistive Technology Professional to conduct in-person mobility evaluations. Responsibilities include performing client interviews, observing gait and movement patterns in real-world environments, evaluating home and community accessibility, and assessing for appropriate equipment.Duties include:Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' functional abilities and environments to determine appropriate assistive technology needsPerforming client interviews and observing gait and movement patterns in real-world settingsEvaluating home and community accessibility and assessing for appropriate equipmentAnalyzing medical data to develop personalized recommendationsCollaborating with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate careProviding training and education to patients, families, caregivers, and staff on proper device use and maintenanceDocumenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately within medical records and case management systemsRequirements:ATP credential requiredValid Driver's License requiredStrong interpersonal skills and clinical reasoningUp-to-date knowledge of mobility assistive technology standards and best practicesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsIf you have your ATP credential, we look forward to hearing from you!
