Material Handler

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The duties include, but are not limited to: Pull stock to fill orders accurately Load and unload inbound & outbound freight, with accurate documentation Receive/process shipments Move and stack materials Rotate floor stock Inventory fulfillment Use technology such as handheld inventory scanners to manage accurate inventory levels Provide administrative support to Distribution Center Manager Assist other warehouse or plant staff, when required Assist in routine care, cleaning and upkeep of machinery within Distribution Warehouse Report damaged merchandise or other problems immediately to appropriate supervisor Other duties as assigned • High school degree, or equivalent • At least 2 years of experience in material handling environment • Previous administrative responsibilities, preferred • Must be able to read and interpret store orders for materials pulled • Strong communication skills • The ability to work successfully in a fast-paced team environment are required • Possess basic mathematical skills • Attention to detail and the capacity to increase administrative support responsibilities as needed • Ability to stand for long period of time and work in a Distribution Center / warehouse environment • Must have previous experience operating forklifts / electric pallet jacks safely • Ability to lift 50 lbs, shoulder height.
