Food and Beverage Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry, with a focus on food and beverage service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire food and beverage operation, from planning and budgeting to ensuring exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall direction, planning, and execution of food and beverage services, including banquets and special events.
- Develop and maintain a positive and supportive work environment for all staff members.
- Conduct staff training and development to improve performance, knowledge, and skills.
- Create and manage budgets for food, beverage, and labor costs, ensuring profitability.
- Oversee and manage the entire food and beverage operation, including ordering, inventory management, and food handling practices.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as all relevant food safety standards.
- Work closely with the Director of Food & Beverage to plan and execute events and special occasions.
- Utilize a point-of-sale (POS) system to manage orders and track sales.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns.
- Collaborate with the training development team to create comprehensive training programs for new staff members.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers and vendors to secure the best possible deals.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of food and beverage inventory, including ordering and inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or Assistant Manager in a hospitality setting.
- Strong background in food and beverage service, including banquet and special event management.
- Experience in staff training and development.
-Forbes 5 Star Training strongly perferred.
- Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond to customer feedback and concerns.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and health and safety regulations.
- Experience with point-of-sale systems and training development programs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in hospitality or a related field is preferred.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
