Job Description SolidWorks Drafter$27–$31/hour | Full-TimeWe are a growing custom fabrication company serving a specialized niche market, and we're looking for a detail-oriented SolidWorks Drafter to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who excels at reviewing drawings for accuracy, catching errors, and ensuring designs are production-ready for elevator manufacturing.You'll play a key role in translating sales quotations and customer specifications into accurate shop and submittal drawings that support production and ensure project success.What You'll Do:· Collaborate with Sales and Production teams to create and maintain accurate shop drawings, layouts, and technical details in SolidWorks.· Ensure all drawings align with project quotes, customer requirements, and applicable codes.· Review customer markups and revisions to confirm alignment with specifications, company capabilities, and project budgets.· Partner with Purchasing and Production as a key member of the design team, maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.· Communicate with customers via phone and email to gather or clarify project information when needed.· Maintain organized documentation to support project tracking and production workflows.What You Bring:· Proficiency in SolidWorks· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.· Clear and professional communication skills.· Ability to perform mathematical calculations including basic math, algebra, and geometry.· Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as specifications, quotes, schedules, and purchase orders.· Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.· High school diploma or GED plus at least 2 years of related drafting or manufacturing experience.Preferred:· Experience with sheet metal fabrication, architectural millwork, manufacturing, or construction environments.Why Join Us:· Supportive, team-focused culture where your work directly impacts the final product· Opportunity to learn and grow in a specialized manufacturing environment· Stable, growing company with a strong reputation for quality· Competitive hourly pay and benefits Company DescriptionWe specialize in designing and manufacturing high-quality, custom elevator cabs for clients across the country.
