Role Description:We are looking for an exceptional Strategy & Operations Lead to work directly with the CEO and leadership team to help build, operate, and scale Neion Bio. This person will serve as a high-leverage generalist across company strategy, business operations, fundraising, partnerships, hiring, investor relations, and special projects.This is a role for someone who can move fluidly between strategic thinking and operational execution: building models, preparing board materials, managing cross-functional projects, coordinating external relationships, improving internal processes, and ensuring that critical priorities move forward. The ideal candidate is someone who takes full ownership of projects, is proactive, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment. Key Responsibilities:Partner directly with the CEO on company strategy, operating priorities, fundraising, business development, and organizational planningDrive high-priority strategic initiatives and special projects across the company, from conception through executionHelp translate company goals into operating plans, milestones, budgets, dashboards, and internal accountability systemsPrepare materials for investors, board meetings, strategic partners, government stakeholders, and other external audiencesSupport fundraising processes, including investor pipeline management, diligence materials, data rooms, financial models, and communicationsHelp manage business operations, including company planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, legal/admin workflows, hiring processes, and internal systemsConduct market, competitive, regulatory, and strategic analysis to inform company priorities and decision-makingServe as a trusted thought partner and force multiplier for the CEO and executive teamRequired Qualifications:3+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, venture capital, investment banking, corporate development, business operations, product, or an operating role at a high-growth startupExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight timelinesStrong written communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level memos, presentations, investor materials, or strategic analysesExperience building financial models, operating models, dashboards, or internal planning systemsHigh degree of ownership, judgment, discretion, and attention to detailAbility to operate independently in ambiguous environments and drive projects forward without extensive oversightStrong business acumen and comfort working across finance, operations, strategy, legal, fundraising, and partnershipsExperience in biotech, life sciences, healthcare, industrial biology, or deep tech is a nice to haveWhy Neion Bio?We are on a mission to reimagine the way in which complex biological molecules are produced to transform human health.
