VP Corporate Banking

DescriptionCitizens Corporate Banking is seeking a Vice President level colleague to support Diversified Industries. The VP will play a key role on deal teams and coordinating projects and will interact with Senior Bankers, Senior Management, Portfolio Management, product partners, and other groups within Citizens. Our team of experienced bankers helps companies execute on valuable business opportunities by offering a full range of Corporate and Investment Banking products and services. Our Corporate Banking platform is national, therefore we are flexible on location for this role.ResponsibilitiesSupport Senior Bankers with prospecting, new business ideas, and business development effortsLeverage deep knowledge of the Diversified Industries to drive dialogue and deliver tailored financial solutions to clients and prospectsPreparing and reviewing marketing materials / pitchbooks for client meetings and internal memorandums / presentationsAct as liaison for Senior Bankers and clients, as well as partner with Portfolio Management, Leveraged Finance, Capital Markets, and Risk Management on all approval and committee requestsConduct company and industry researchAnalyze financial model output and client information to prioritize data and present conclusions for discussion purposesLead client planning and demonstrate proficiency with key productsResponsible for mentoring and developing junior team membersResponsible for a portfolio of clients and direct business development of N2N clients based on experience levelOther duties as assignedQualifications:5+ years Corporate or Investment Banking experience with a financial institution.Growth mindset with desire to learn and follow directions wellAbility to function as part of a flat organization, manage several projects at once and work effectively as an individual and as part of multiple teamsExcellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to express ideas in an organized and articulate mannerAbility to follow-up independently and consistently in a timely mannerDemonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis including: financial statement analysis, financial modeling and company or industry analysisSelf-starting team player who can think strategically and excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environmentHigh degree of maturity and integrity with a positive and hardworking attitudeExcellent attention to detailFull command of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointExperience with related financial services software a plusDemonstrated business development successAbility to travel for business is requiredEducation/Certifications:Bachelors Degree requiredMasters Degree preferred79 & 63 Licenses preferred.Hours & Work ScheduleHours per Week: 40Work Schedule: Monday - FridaySome job boards have started using jobseeker-reported data to estimate salary ranges for roles.
