Warehouse Crew Lead

Job Description Taylor Rental is looking for a dependable and organized Warehouse Crew Lead to join our team in Paso Robles, CA. In this hands-on leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, directing rental staff, and ensuring all rental jobs are properly prepared and executed from start to finish. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise, organize, and coordinate the warehouse rental crew on a daily basis• Plan and assign tasks to staff to ensure efficient preparation of rental equipment and inventory• Coordinate delivery schedules, dispatch drivers, and ensure on-time delivery and pickup of rental items• Inspect and verify rental equipment before and after each job to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality• Oversee the staging, loading, and organization of equipment for upcoming rental jobs• Maintain accurate inventory and ensure proper storage of all rental items in the warehouse• Communicate with customers and event coordinators regarding delivery timing, setup requirements, and logistics• Train and mentor warehouse team members on proper procedures and safety standards• Troubleshoot day-of logistics issues and adjust crew assignments as needed• Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations Requirements: • Previous experience in a warehouse, rental, or logistics environment required• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred• Strong organizational and time-management skills• Ability to lift up to 94 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the shift• Valid driver's license; ability to operate a box truck or delivery vehicle is a plus• Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and event days About Taylor Rental: Taylor Rental is a full-service rental company serving the Central Coast.
