FX Operation is responsible for processing Confirmation and Settlement for FX and FX Option Trade. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement and investigation of FX and FX Option product.Responsibilities:FX / FX Option confirmation and settlement related tasksManage daily performance related to FX settlement activities of operations processesSupport data entry, data gathering and making internal reporting dataReview current process and execute automation and straight through processing for better operation with risk mitigation, client service enhancements, or overall technology enhancementsDevelop and implement business initiatives, client solutions, or projects affiliated with FX settlementSolve complex inquiries, conduct discovery and complete due diligence activities for client requestsProvide detailed analysis of escalated issues when necessary and recommend actions for resolutionDevelop and implement business plans, policies, and procedures that offer solutions and cost saving opportunitiesCoordinate with internal and external clients to assess service quality and identify areas for improvementAct as an advisor to new/junior staffAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.Qualifications:6-10 years of relevant experienceFundamental understanding of FX / FX Option products, accounting and regulatory policiesPeople management experienceConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsLanguage proficiency: Japanese (fluent), English (fluent)Certifications: JSDA Registered Sales Representative Class 1, JSDA Internal Control Officer (preferred)Education:Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster's degree preferredThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
