Join our dedicated team where your expertise will shape the future of engineering.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position located in Eugene, OR, for a Civil Engineer (EIT). The role involves working under the supervision of a PE performing foundation repair projects for both commercial and residential clients, as well as for new construction. It includes participating in geotechnical evaluations and preparing construction documents and evaluation reports.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldExperience in Structural, Foundation, and Forensic analysis is a plusExperience working with structural software tools is a plusExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsWillingness to learnBeing detail-orientedEffective communication and collaboration abilitiesMicrosoft Office skillsSound technical drawing skills, preferably in AutoCADAbility to travel, including overnight stays up to 10% of the timePhysical ability to inspect crawlspaces and walk on sloped groundJob ResponsibilitiesAnalysis and design of deep foundations for residential and commercial structures, creating (or assisting others to create) documentation that includes letters, drawings, calculations, and specifications, utilizing concrete, steel, and wood design skills, for both new and existing buildings, under the supervision of a PE.Analysis of soil data from field investigationsMastering the use of geotechnical equipmentFurnish structural inspection reports based on visual inspections of buildingsInteracts with the client and project team in developing the scope of services and communicating project progressIncorporate, throughout time, PE skills and attributionsBenefits & CompensationSalary Range is $75,000 - $90,000 based on education and experienceRetirementHealth InsuranceVacationRelocation PackageAssistance to obtain a PE license in the futureResumes to admin@nwenggroup.com (Attn: Rebeka Yedinak)
