Senior Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Programming - East Windsor

This role focuses on developing advanced CNC machining processes and owning full life‐cycle programming for precision prototype components. You'll combine engineering, programming, and on‐floor validation to drive optimized, repeatable production in a fast‐paced environment. Description Key Responsibilites for the Senior Manufacturing Engineer are: Lead CNC programming for complex, tight‐tolerance machined components. Build complete manufacturing processes from drawing review through first article validation. Develop tooling, fixturing, machining strategies, and setup documentation. Create and optimize Mastercam toolpaths to improve quality, cycle time, and tool life. Validate machining processes on the shop floor and resolve issues at the source. Collaborate closely with engineering and operations to influence manufacturability. Mentor machinists and junior engineers to elevate technical capability. Drive continuous improvement through process stability, setup efficiency, and documentation enhancements. Profile The Successful Sr. Manufacturing Engineer will: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or advanced CNC programming. Strong background in precision CNC machining and process development. Demonstrated ability to take parts from print through successful first article. Extensive experience with Mastercam (strongly preferred by the client). Experience operating or programming DMG Mori equipment (highly recommended). Strong knowledge of tooling, fixturing, GD&T, and machining optimization. Experience within Lean and ISO 9001 environments is beneficial.
