Payroll Manager

Overview:We are seeking a Payroll Manager to lead our global payroll operations during an exciting phase of organizational growth. Reporting to the Senior Director of Accounting, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll across domestic and international jurisdictions. This role is a perfect fit for a strategic leader who excels at building scalable processes, maintaining high compliance standards, and providing exceptional service to a global workforce. **Please note that UKG payroll experience is required and we are not able to offer sponsorship now or in the future**What You'll Do:Manage and oversee end-to-end payroll operations for 700+ employees globally, ensuring accurate and timely execution in alignment with local regulatory and labor requirements.Drive standardization and automation across payroll procedures to enhance operational efficiency and support the scalability of a rapidly growing organization Own payroll accounting processes, including general ledger reconciliations and financial reporting, in close partnership with the Accounting team Ensure all payroll activities comply with internal policies and applicable federal, state, and international tax and wage regulations Lead global payroll system implementations and integrations, ensuring seamless data flow between HRIS and ERP systems Serve as the primary expert for internal and external audits, manage equity-related payroll transactions (including stock compensation), and oversee global tax registrations Act as a key advisor to leadership on the HRIS/payroll system roadmap and long-term global payroll strategy What You'll Bring:8–10+ years of progressive payroll experience in complex, multi-country environments with a proven track record of managing external payroll providersHands-on experience with managing payroll in UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) is required, including system administration or implementation expertiseDeep understanding of global withholding taxes, tax filings, employment regulations, and equity/stock-based compensation implicationsStrong ability to interpret payroll data to identify process improvements and solve complex problems with high attention to detailExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide professional support to employees and collaborate effectively across Finance, HR, and Systems teamsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment
