Supply Chain Coordinator
Location: Winston-Salem, NC, 27101Position OverviewThe Supply Chain Coordinator plays a key role in production and purchasing activities. Supporting day-to-day supply chain operations by coordinating purchases, receipts, managing production, monitoring material availability, and supporting order fulfillment. This position helps ensure materials, production priorities, demand and delivery commitments remain aligned across internal teams and external suppliers. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues before they disrupt production or delivery schedules. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively across multiple functions, and takes ownership of keeping operational workflows moving efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesMaterials CoordinationMonitor inventory levels and identify potential material shortages before they impact production schedulesCoordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve shortages and minimize operational disruptionsTrack incoming materials and ensure accurate receiving and system updatesProduction CoordinationResponsible for the receiving, production and fulfillment of ordersEnsure purchase orders and work orders are accurate, complete, and aligned with scheduling requirementsCoordinate with production teams regarding material timelines and availabilitySupport production reporting and maintain accurate system data related to production activityPurchasing SupportEnter and maintain purchase orders within the ERP/system accurately and timelyTrack supplier delivery dates and proactively follow up on late or incomplete ordersSupport supplier communication to help ensure timely and accurate deliveriesMaintain purchasing documentation and system recordsSupport continuous improvement efforts related to inventory accuracy, workflow efficiency, and operational executionQualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered2–4 years of experience in supply chain, operations, logistics, materials coordination, or related roleExperience working within ERP/MRP systems (NetSuite preferred) to manage purchasing, inventory, work orders, or material planning activitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and OutlookStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyEffective communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environmentAbility to proactively identify issues and coordinate timely resolution across teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting production, fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain operations in a manufacturing, distribution, or project-based environmentFamiliarity with continuous improvement, process optimization, or lean operational practicesExperience coordinating with vendors, suppliers, or external operational partners NetSuite experience Key CompetenciesProactive problem-solvingTime management and prioritizationData accuracy and accountabilityCollaboration and communicationEqual Opportunity EmployerAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status under applicable law.```
