Server Responsibilities SERVER – JOB DESCRIPTION The Server is responsible for providing an exceptional dinking experience for all guests. The Server establishes a relationship with the guest ensuring a pleasurable dining experience. The Server reports directly to the General Manager.Duties Server duties will include, but are not limited to: Promptly greet guests as they are seated and take drink ordersThoroughly understand and be able to speak to all items on the menuMake menu recommendations to the customerAccurately account for all guest orders and special requestsEnsure cleanliness of server stationsDeliver food to guests promptly ensuring food is cooked to order and hotThank guests for coming upon departure Experience/Qualifications: Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast paced environmentSolid Communication and interpersonal skillsA friendly and energetic personality with customer service focusAbility to work flexible shiftsAbility to life up to 35 lbs. and to stand for long periods of time as well as walk, bend, stoopAbility to cross-train and work in different departments Preferred skills: Server experienceIndiana food handling certificationIndiana license to sell/serve alcohol Hours: The Server is either a full time or part time position and hours will varySalary/IncomeThe Server is a non-exempt, hourly position
