GIS Analyst Remote

Advanced Gis AnalystLocation: Remote Duration: Long TermThe candidate will be allowed to work remotely until all staff return to site. At that point the candidate will be required to come onsite. Personal equipment is expected to be used for remote work. They will connect to DOT's network using their device/internet and then use a virtual machine via Citrix. Once the agency returns to site, the contractor will be provided a desktopExpected Skills:Advanced experience with Esri's Roads & HighwaysAdvanced experience in GIS analysis, including the Esri suite of productsAdvanced experience working with linear referencing systemsStrong knowledge and understanding of GIS principals, theories and practicesStrong skills in development of analysis procedure, complex system integration, software configuration management, and business analysisExperience troubleshooting and providing customer supportExperience working with large, relational databasesExperience with integrating and implementing complex technology solutionsDescription (including, but not limited to):Designing, developing, and implementing GIS analytic processes such as change detection and geoprocessing workflowsDeveloping and executing advanced queries or scriptsMaintaining roadway centerline and linear referenced data using Esri Roads & HighwaysUtilizing GIS and organizational best practices to maintain and manage GIS layersDeveloping and documenting workflows, standards, and best practicesDeveloping and executing test plans for all levels of system testingScheduling meetings and coordinating project deliverablesDeveloping instructions for application support
