DevOps Developer

We're seeking a dedicated professional to drive our development projects and support across various areas, including code scanning, enterprise job scheduling tools, environment management, package management, and deployments. You'll be a key contributor to our DevOps goals, ensuring robust development and operational support. Ready to make a difference? Come help us build and optimize our systems! What Your Responsibilities Will Look Like: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate and streamline the software build, test, and deployment processes. Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues to ensure seamless integration and delivery. Oversee and execute application deployments to various environments, including development, staging, and production. Coordinate with development and operations teams to schedule and perform releases. Manage and support development, staging, and production environments, ensuring they are properly configured and maintained. Perform regular environment assessments and updates to support evolving application needs and infrastructure changes. Oversee and manage software packages and dependencies using package management tools. (Azure DevOps Artifacts, NuGet, npm, Maven) Ensure proper versioning and compatibility of packages across different environments to avoid integration issues. Evaluate, implement, and manage DevOps tools and frameworks (SSMS, Visual Studio, VS Code, Git for Windows, Node.js, Power BI, .NET, Blazor, Crystal Reports, etc.) Stay updated on emerging tools and technologies, recommending and integrating new solutions to enhance DevOps practices. Support and manage ActiveBatch job scheduling and automation processes. Review and optimize job workflows and plans to improve efficiency, reliability, and meet business requirements Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ActiveBatch job execution. Develop and review architectural designs for ActiveBatch job plans and scheduling. Qualifications to Be a DevOps Developer: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. At least 5 years of experience in the IT industry. Agile development methodology. Experience with ActiveBatch or similar job scheduling tool Strong knowledge of SQL Server including ability to analyze complex stored procedures. Extensive experience converting data from a wide variety of systems and file formats Microsoft Development technologies such as C#, SQL, SSRS, AzureDevOps/TFS. Ability to rapidly assimilate new technologies and be able to communicate effectively with various teams. Excellent interpersonal skills including analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and issue resolution. An ability to work independently in solving business problems. Industry experience in group health insurance, worker's compensation, third-party administrators (TPA), or professional benefit administrators. Experience working with offshore teams Preferred Skills: Healthcare EDI standards such as 835s. VMware. Crystal Reports. Automated testing tools. ETL tools for data mapping. Understanding of Git source control system Experience with CI/CD This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
