Having sold over 1 million Asian beauty products on TikTok Shop and initiated several viral trends in the TikTok beauty space, we are looking to constantly push the envelope of what is possible in the intersection of Asian Beauty technology and Western sensibilities.Role Description:We’re looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Development Intern to support the end-to-end creation and launch of beauty products. This role is ideal for someone interested in K-beauty, formulation trends, and the behind-the-scenes process of bringing products to market.You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and leadership to help research, develop, and execute new product initiatives—from concept to launch.Key Responsibilities:Research beauty trends (with a focus on K-beauty and emerging ingredients)Analyze competitor products, pricing, and positioningIdentify gaps and opportunities for new product launchesOrganize and document product testing (internal and external feedback)Compile structured feedback and identify actionable improvementsAssist in iteration cycles based on performance and feedbackHelp source packaging components and evaluate optionsSupport product launch timelines and checklistsAssist with product briefs for marketing and content teamsQualifications:Strong interest in beauty, skincare, and product developmentHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasks and timelines simultaneouslyStrong communication and problem-solving skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced startup environmentProficient in Google Sheets and/or ExcelPreferred QualificationsCoursework or background in business, marketing, chemistry, or a related fieldFamiliarity with K-beauty brands, trends, and consumer behaviorPrior internship, project, or extracurricular experience related to beauty, product development, or eCommerceCompensation:$18-22 / hour (DOE)Benefits:Paid time off (after first 90 days)Schedule:Part-time (min. 16 hours per week)Term: 6 monthsPotential for extension and growth based on performance and business needsAbility to Commute:Long Beach, CA 90806Cocomint Inc. is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming workplace for all.
