Business Dev. Manager I

Develops project pursuit strategy with Area Operational leadership supporting corporate strategy. Attends and participates in industry outreach, networking, and informational events to gain local contacts. Maintains connection with key owners and agencies. Oversees administrative effort to help achieve shortlist selection and create responsive SOQ submittals. Organizes and maintains pursuit list and regularly communicates to team and upper management. Tracks the pursuit process to ensure submittal is compliant and delivered by deadline. Prepares and negotiates designer agreements, subcontractor agreements, and Joint Venture (JV) agreements, compliant with company policies. Follows corporate guidelines and procedures for estimate pursuits. Works with estimating team to prepare pricing for pursuits. Prepares budget estimates that are reviewed by Chief Estimator and works with estimating team on final pricing.
