Job description: Budtender Budtenders act as ambassadors of the company brand. The ideal candidate should be passionate about their work, reliable, organized and motivated. All budtenders are required to have knowledge of cannabis products along with current NJ cannabis laws and regulations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Educate customers on the best cannabis products to fulfill their needs. Maintain a friendly and engaging personality with team members and customers. Fulfill customer orders and check out customers using our POS system. Scan and verify customer IDs to maintain compliance with cannabis laws. Stock and restock inventory, label products, handle all payments; cash, debit cards etc. Reconcile sale reports. Maintain a clean work environment including cleaning sales and employee common areas, clean floors, furniture, equipment and display cases. Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, laws and regulations of the business, State of NJ and Andover township. Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older. Must agree to a full background check along with fingerprinting. Be trustworthy, honest and punctual. Must have a reliable mode of transportation. Have excellent interpersonal skills. Can communicate with customers over the phone, in person, via email, and telephone. Be detail-oriented. Have excellent computer skills Be able to work well with other team members. Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times. Must be able to work on weekends, nights, holidays, overtime and rotating shifts. Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, move around the store and the ability to lift and carry up to 20lbs.
