Operations Intern

Seeking a motivated college student (Business or related field) for a summer internship within a pharmaceutical manufacturing operations team. This role provides exposure to GMP manufacturing environments, operational workflows, and collaboration across functional teams. This role will support process implementation, document control and consolidation, record keeping and more. While also gaining knowledge of GMP manufacturing and valuable leadership experience.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in mapping, implementation and documenting manufacturing processes (dispensing, granulation, encapsulation, compression, coating, etc.)Conduct time studies and analyze workflow efficiencySupport continuous improvement initiatives (material flow, changeover reduction etc.)Analyze operational data (downtime, yield, deviations) and present findingsReview SOPs for clarity and usability improvementsCollaborate with operations, engineering, and quality teamsShadow operators and supervisors during day-to-day operationsPrepare presentations summarizing project outcomes and recommendationsLearning ObjectivesGain understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and GMP regulationsExperience in managing people and day-to-day operations to build leadership skillsDevelop data analysis and problem-solving skillsLearn operational excellence and continuous improvement methodsBuild cross-functional communication experienceQualificationsCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, supply chain, or related fieldStrong analytical and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointGood communication skillsInterest in manufacturing and/or pharmaceutical industryNeed help finding the right job?We can recommend jobs specifically for you!
