American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position at a Magnet-status, acute care teaching hospital in Florida, requiring a minimum of 18 months of ICU experience and Epic proficiency.Job Details• CVICU unit within a 332-bed short-term acute care, Magnet-designated teaching hospital,• Mixed ICU environment serving both cardiac and neurological patient populations,• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM),• Block scheduling is not available,• Floating required to sister facilities within a 20-mile radius (3 hospital locations),• Charting performed in Epic EMR,• Free parking available in any unrestricted space,Job Requirements• Active FL RN license or compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted),• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration,• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification must be obtained prior to start,• Minimum 18 months of ICU experience required; 2 years preferred,• Experience with both cardiac and neurological ICU patients required,• Epic EMR proficiency required at a level 3 or 4,• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration,• Two professional references required for consideration,• Must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) is required,Additional Information• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers,• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront - requests added after submission are unlikely to be approved,• This is a smoke-free and nicotine-free facility with no exceptions,• White scrubs are required,• Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be completed promptly upon assignment confirmation,
