Director Of OperationsOversee and direct day-to-day operations for a commercial and residential landscaping services company. Plan and manage operational activities including workforce planning, recruitment coordination, human resources administration, budgeting support, scheduling, and administrative leadership. Develop and improve operational systems for hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and retention of field crews and supervisory staff. Determine staffing levels, crew structure, recruitment timelines, and deployment schedules based on project demand, weather conditions, and client contracts. Coordinate recruiting activities through lawful domestic and seasonal labor programs and external staffing vendors when needed. Establish candidate evaluation procedures, training programs, safety orientation, and performance standards for field operations. Oversee workforce logistics including onboarding schedules, jobsite assignments, transportation coordination, equipment readiness, and compliance with company safety programs and standard operating procedures. Supervise department managers and field supervisors, ensuring adherence to labor policies, workplace safety standards, and operational best practices. Coordinate with accounting and management on budgeting, labor cost tracking, payroll coordination, insurance compliance, and bonding requirements. Monitor operational performance metrics, including productivity, crew utilization, rework rates, and client satisfaction, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, workforce stability, service quality, and profitability.Position requires Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field and 24 months of experience managing workforce operations, including recruitment coordination, human resources administration, and operational planning for a seasonal or project-based workforce; responsible for workforce planning, staffing coordination, performance management and financial accountability in an operational environment. Employer will accept 48 months of experience in the above stated experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree and 24 months of experience.$123,926 per year. 40 hours per week.Available benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, Employee Sick and Safe Time (ESST), and 401K.
