Schedule Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (Block Scheduling is not guaranteed) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing, including pediatric experience, and the ability to handle a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to geriatrics. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Department. Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Utilize specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun. Manage a high-volume patient load in a fast-paced environment. Participate in triage and manage patients with various diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, and cardiac arrest. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Up to date resume demonstrating at least 2 years of experience in Emergency Nursing (ED) with pediatric experience. Travel experience is required. Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (TNCC must be in hand). Active NY RN license with NURSYS report for license verification. EMR experience required: EPIC.
