Custodian w/ School Bus License
Job Goal(s): Full-time, year-round position to include snow days, scrub weeks, and summer break. This may also include driving a school bus when need be.
Qualification
High School graduate or GED
Must have passed a physical exam as directed by state requirements and comply with stipulations recommended by the school's examining physician.
Hold a valid Maine driver's license to drive school
Participate in the Driving Dynamics course as recommended by the State and required by the District
Ability to read and comprehend technical information
Ability to work safely with chemicals and equipment
Ability to work cooperatively with other employees. Be a team player.
Self-directed/motivated
Job requires physical ability to lift 40, stand, climb stairs and ladders, lift, push, pull, and bend for extended periods.
Certifications
Maine DOE Certification - CHRC
Motor Vehicle Operator's License
CPR Certified
Performance Responsibilities
Perform general custodial duties at the assigned location(s).
Provide an adequate custodial inventory of materials and
Perform emergency custodial duties during the school
Replace materials as needed such as paper towels, soap, light bulbs,
Maintain the building in a safe, neat, and orderly
Help keep the grounds and play areas free from
