Cabinet Finisher

Job OverviewWe are seeking a Lead Cabinet Finisher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and finishing techniques, with a keen eye for detail and quality. This role involves restoring and finishing cabinets that have been damaged. The Cabinet Finisher will work closely with other team members to ensure that all projects are completed on time and to the satisfaction of our clients.Responsibilities Finish, paint, stain, clean, sand, color match and prepare cabinetry and componentsColor match damaged cabinets to their original pre-loss condition, using both stain and paintUtilize all cabinet finishing related equipment and machinery including spray booths, spray guns, paint, stain, brushes, sanders, dust collectors, power tools, etc.Occasionally perform work in the field on job sites doing cleaning, touch-ups, precision repairs, painting, and re-finishingDaily communication flow with technicians, builders and operations managerFamiliarity with all safety protocols and proceduresKeep inventory of materials needed for finishing cabinetsProper sanding of solid and veneered wood cabinet surfacesIdentify wood species, colors, materials and grain patternsProactive approach - identify problems and offer solutionsRequirements 5+ years finishing wood surfaces, cabinetry, furniture, or other trim carpentryAbility to produce near-identical color matches of stains and paints to existing finishesKnowledge of laws and regulations in relation to VOCsStrict adherence to safetyAttentive to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and can meet production deadlinesAbout the CompanyRenew Medic by CLT is a premium cabinet restoration franchise servicing Charlotte and the surrounding areas.
