Optical Stockroom Associate

Job Description DescriptionWe are looking for a stockroom associate to join our team. As a stockroom associate you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and maintaining eyewear inventory. Our stockroom associates help opticians fulfill patient eyeglass orders. They are primarily responsible for the flow of merchandise into and out of the stockroom.Schedule: M-F 8-5Key ResponsibilitiesMaintaining a clean and organized stockroomProcessing pick tickets and verifying patient orders for accuracyPicking frames from consignment inventory and distributing themVerifying incoming frame stock for accuracyProcessing and shipping frame returns to vendorsEntering new frame inventory and pricing information into the inventory system Keeping an accurate collection of all vendor Invoices and StatementsKeeping an accurate inventory of items in stock to ensure that items are not misplaced or stolenDistributing frame inventory and cases to MVP optical locationsSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseHighly motivated, detail-oriented and organized.Excellent communications skillsAbility to work independentlyPeople orientedEnergeticAbility to multitask WHAT YOU KNOW: To be successful in this role you will have the following experience or knowledge:Recent retail office or stockroom experience (Optical Retail a plus)Excellent computers skills (Excel/Word preferred)BenefitsCompetitive wagesRobust benefit package including medical, dental, life and disability (short- and long-term) insuranceGenerous paid time off (PTO) programSeven (7) company paid holidays401(k) retirement plan with company matchAn organization focused on People, Passion, Purpose and ProgressInspirational culture
