Position: Full Stack .Net/Azure Developer Location: New York City, NY***HYBRID***Duration: 1 YearJob DescriptionAzure Data Engineer / Full Stack DeveloperPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer / Full Stack Developer to join our team and play a key role in advancing our enterprise data platform. This hands-on position combines data engineering, application development, and cloud integration expertise to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building modern data platforms, developing backend services, and supporting enterprise-grade applications in a cloud environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable end-to-end data pipelines supporting enterprise data initiatives.Build and optimize complex SQL queries, data models, stored procedures, and transformation processes.Develop backend applications, APIs, and services using C# and .NET technologies.Implement and support Azure-based solutions utilizing Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and related cloud services.Design and develop RESTful APIs and service layers to facilitate data access and integration with downstream applications.Develop and maintain batch and event-driven processing frameworks to support business requirements.Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and performance across all platform components.Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational support processes for production environments.Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable solutions.Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and the establishment of development standards and best practices.Support production deployments, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous platform improvements.Required Qualifications10+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or related technical roles.Strong expertise in SQL development, data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.Hands-on experience developing applications and services using C# and .NET.Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Data Factory and Azure Functions.Experience designing and developing APIs and service-oriented architectures.Strong understanding of ETL/ELT methodologies, data integration, and pipeline design.Experience working with large-scale, distributed, or cloud-based data platforms.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience designing and implementing modern cloud-native data architectures.Hands-on experience with Apache technologies such as Kafka, Spark, or Flink.Knowledge of event-driven architecture patterns and Azure Event Hubs.Familiarity with Azure App Configuration and Azure API Management (APIM).Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.Prior experience within financial services, capital markets, asset management, or investment management environments.What You'll BringPassion for building scalable, high-quality cloud solutions.Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across technical and business teams.Commitment to engineering excellence, automation, and continuous improvement.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, enterprise environment supporting mission-critical systems.
