We are also a publicly traded company on the NYSE with the ticker symbol KNF and part of the S&P MidCap 400 index.Role OverviewThis position is responsible to operate straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor type vehicles equipped with front mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage or processing areas, in order to load trucks or feed conveyors, hoppers, or chutes.The typical schedule is Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM during production season. Typical schedule during maintenance season is four ten-hour shifts. The schedule may vary due to weather and customer demand.DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES (summary of components that make up the job)Starts engine, shifts gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheel to operate loader.Moves levers to lower and tilt bucket and drives front end loader forward to force bucket into bulk material.Moves levers to raise and tilt bucket when filled, drives vehicle to work site, and moves levers to dump material.Load trucks as directed.Assists in plant maintenance as directed.Performs routine maintenance on loader such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.Inspect plant for necessary maintenance and help complete repairs as assigned.Operate hand tools and safety equipment including, but not limited to grease guns, wrenches, shovels, fire hoses, and cutting torches.Be able to work at heights and in the elements cold, heat, wind and rain.Obey all safety rules and work in a safe manner.
