Application Developer/Database Design Administrator 3
Job Description:
The Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing database applications to meet diverse user needs. This role ensures the integrity, security, and availability of multiple databases, while defining data relationships, flow, and storage requirements.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop database applications tailored to user needs.
Administer, maintain, and implement security measures for multiple databases.
Define informational needs, data relationships, and attributes.
Analyze and establish data flow, storage requirements, and reporting capabilities.
Test and recommend software products for database management.
Perform system-level maintenance for databases and related software.
Provide technical leadership or oversee lower-level employees when necessary.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree and 5+ years experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
Experience with SQL Server database administration experience to include stored procedures, and data structure design
SQL Server Integration Services databases including table schema and stored procedures
Experience developing Microsoft Access based User Interfaces
Desired Skills:
Understanding of data layer design, and development for .Net applications
Experience developing Microsoft .NET framework web applications
Experience in managing large data structures CompTIA Security+ Certification
Experience with PostGreSQL and/or Yellowbrick
Experience with Web-based interface development
Experience configuring and deploying Microsoft .NET applications
Experience with Python
Experience with query performance tuning
Experience with Tableau and associated presentation programs
Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, VBA, C#, JavaScript, and HTML
Working knowledge of the MDA/BMDS message specs or components
Proven track record with working in a team environment utilizing common software source control practices and processes
Experience managing tasks through Agile/SCRUM process using Jira or other tracking tools
