Join East Trailers LLC to build a future in superior quality and value.Job Summary:This is a full-time, remote position but must reside in Southeast or Midwest. We are seeking a strategic and experienced National Account Manager to lead and grow key relationships with high-volume customers in the fleet and transportation sectors. This role is responsible for managing multi-location, large-scale accounts, with a focus on selling commercial trailers and custom fleet solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep industry knowledge, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to align complex client needs with manufacturing capabilities. This is a 80/20 - Hunter / Account Management primarily focused on the flatbed / dry van market.Key Responsibilities:Develop, manage and grow national-level accounts across North America, focusing on fleet trailer sales (dry vans, flatbeds, dump, refuse & dump bodies).Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, maintaining strong relationships with procurement, fleet managers, and executive stakeholders.Develop strategic account plans to expand wallet share and identify opportunities for trailer upgrades, replacements, or custom solutions.Coordinate closely with production, engineering, and logistics teams to deliver on client specifications and timelines.Lead contract negotiations, pricing agreements, service level expectations, and long-term agreements.Analyze fleet usage trends and provide data-driven recommendations for asset lifecycle management.Travel to client sites, industry events, and trade shows to maintain visibility and support strategic initiatives.Stay informed on DOT regulations, trailer design innovations, and fleet technology trends.Track and report on account performance, sales forecasts, and KPIs to senior leadershipQualifications:Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent industry experience).5+ years of B2B sales experience, including national account management in transportation, trailer manufacturing, or commercial vehicles.Proven ability to manage complex, multi-site customer relationships.Strong technical understanding of trailer specifications, configurations, and fleet operations.Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.Proficient in CRM platforms (Salesforce) and Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint.Preferred Experience:Experience selling into major carriers, leasing companies, or private fleets.Familiarity with custom trailer builds, telematics integration, or green fleet initiatives.Track record of closing multi-million dollar deals and managing long-term contracts.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive base salary + commission or incentive planVehicle allowanceFull benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k)Expense reimbursement for travelOpportunities for career advancement in a growing company
