HVAC Technical Trainer

Johnstone is growing, and so can you.ResponsibilitiesDeliver HVAC technical training courses for contractors, technicians, and company employees.Conduct classroom presentations, hands-on training sessions, and technical demonstrations.Assist in delivering manufacturer product training and certification courses.Facilitate training sessions both in person and through online training platforms when required.Maintain a professional and engaging training environment that encourages participation and learning.Assist the Training Manager in developing HVAC technical training curriculum.Create and maintain training materials including PowerPoint presentations, lab exercises, technical guides, and demonstration materials.Help update training programs to reflect new products, technologies, and industry best practices.Participate in curriculum development meetings and planning sessions.Assist with installation and maintenance of training equipment used in live fire training labs.QualificationsNew Jersey Master HVAC license preferredMinimum of five years' experience in HVAC installation, service, or technical support.Strong understanding of residential and light commercial HVAC systems.Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to technicians and contractors.Strong presentation and public speaking skills.Experience creating training materials such as PowerPoint presentations preferred.Experience delivering technical instruction or leading group training sessions preferred.Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint.EPA Universal certification preferred.Valid driver's license required.Company ValuesWe're also interested in hiring a great candidate that holds these values so we can further build a strong company culture:Safety:Always prioritizes safety, both at work and at home, while ensuring those who work for you work safely.Customer Focused:Take the perspective of those we serve, anticipate their needs, and responding quickly.One Team:We win together by collaborating with each other, focusing on the common goal, and leveraging the strengths of the team.Own It:Take the initiative, act with a sense of urgency and pride, do things right the first time, and always act with integrity.Innovate:Embrace and create change that drives continuous improvement and customer-valued solutions.Benefit OverviewAt Johnstone Supply, we recognize that our employees' growth, well-being, and success drives the company's success.
