Security Patrol OfficerAKHIRE is recruiting for the following position:Position Title: Security Patrol OfficerLocation: Anchorage, AKPay: $28.00+ Per Hour DOESchedule: varying shifts hours will vary depending on needTerm: Full time Permanent Paid trainingResponsibilities - Security Patrol Officer:Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.Work amongst and in cooperation with trained K9 dogs and their handlers.Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and removing trespassers.Ability to physical detain as needed in the interest of safety.Secure premises and personnel by patrolling propertyUse verbal de-escalation to diffuse tense situations.Requirements:Ability to pass background check and drug screeningAbility to carry a firearmMust be able to lift up to 100lbsMust be comfortable working aloneMust have a valid driver's licenseMust have reliable transportationThose with prior military experience are encouraged to apply
