Spray-Lawn Care Technician

In this role, you'll perform targeted plant health care applications, monitor landscape health, and help keep our commercial properties thriving-all while emphasizing safety, precision, and professionalism. A valid Tennessee Category 03 license is required.Your Daily Impact• Apply horticultural chemicals-including insecticides, fungicides, and plant growth regulators-safely and accurately to ornamental plants and landscape beds. • Calibrate, operate, and maintain spray equipment with expert care. • Diagnose landscape issues by identifying insects, diseases, nutrient deficiencies, and environmental stress. • Maintain detailed and accurate application records and property notes. • Read, understand, and follow all pesticide labels and application instructions. • Assist with landscape tasks such as pruning, bed maintenance, seasonal color installations, or other property needs as required. • Follow all company procedures, safety protocols, and state regulations. • Represent Russell Landscape professionally while interacting with customers and teammates. • Communicate clearly with team members and clients to ensure smooth, coordinated operations. ZRRequirementsRequirements - What You Bring to the Table-Valid Tennessee Category 03 (Ornamental & Turf) pesticide license • Valid driver's license and eligibility to drive for Russell Landscape • Experience in horticulture, plant healthcare, landscaping, or related fields preferred • Knowledge of mixing, handling, and applying pesticides according to established programs • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely • Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions • Self-motivated, dependable, and genuinely passionate about helping landscapes thrive
