Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and dependable Field Technician I to join our structured cabling team. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone who is eager to learn, grow their skill set, and build a long-term career in the telecommunications and infrastructure industry.
You will support the installation, routing, and termination of low-voltage cabling systems, working alongside experienced technicians and site leads. This role offers hands-on training and advancement opportunities for individuals who take initiative and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with installation of structured cabling systems (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber, etc.)
Pull, route, and label cables in commercial and industrial environments
Support termination and basic testing of cables
Follow project plans, safety guidelines, and site instructions
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
Work closely with team members and learn from senior technicians and site leads
Travel to job sites as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic knowledge of hand tools (or willingness to learn)
Strong work ethic and reliability
Positive attitude and willingness to learn on the job
Ability to work in physically demanding environments (ladders, lifts, tight spaces)
Valid driver’s license (preferred)
