Veterinary Dental Assistant

Job Description Lake County Veterinary Clinics, PLLC is seeking a full-time Veterinary Dental Assistant to work in our Two Harbors location. Training will be provided, regardless of experience.We are a small animal practice serving Two Harbors, Duluth, Grand Marais and surrounding areas. Our staff works in a team setting and good communication skills are necessary.Looking for a responsible, dedicated and professional individual to add to our staff. Duties include: client communication and education over the phone and in-person, working on computers and veterinary software, interaction with doctors and technicians, preparing lab samples, running lab tests, phlebotomy, animal handling and restraint, stocking inventory items, filling prescriptions, xrays.This position will be focused on veterinary dentistry. Our clinic performs basic cleanings, digital dental radiographs, extractions, endodontics, crowns, and jaw fracture repair. Our dental team has also performed specific dental procedures on zoo animals as needed.Starting pay based on experience.Individual must be a team player, able to work in a busy setting, act in a professional manner, have good communication skills and be highly responsible.
