Opportunity: RN - PCU StepdownJob Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM • Patient ratios of 1:4-5 with 35-bed unit capacity • Every other weekend requirement and every third holiday • Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS • Must pass open book skills exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score to continue • Artificial nails are prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination • Required to titrate drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications • Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring conditions • Floating requirements to medical floors, ICU, or rehabilitation units • Fast-paced environment requiring positive attitude, communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities • First week onboarding followed by 1-2 days of unit-specific orientation • Epic charting system used • Must reside outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities • Driver's license required at submittal for distance verification • RTO must be requested upfront (7 or fewer days per 13-week contract)Facility: This healthcare organization operates as a Level 2 trauma center providing comprehensive acute care services.
