Job Title: Electrical EngineerCompany: VertivLocation: Pelzer, SC (100% Onsite)About the RoleVertiv is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team onsite in Pelzer, SC. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, integrating, and optimizing critical power and infrastructure systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and efficiency of power distribution, emergency systems, and facility controls.If you have a strong background in medium/low voltage distribution and critical power infrastructure, we want to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesPower Distribution: Design and oversee the implementation of Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) distribution systems.Critical Infrastructure: Configure and integrate Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and their associated battery cabinets.Emergency & Standby Power: Manage the engineering and deployment of standby generators and emergency lighting systems.Equipment Specification: Select, specify, and test switchgear and related electrical components.Facility Systems: Collaborate on the integration of ancillary facility systems, including door access control.Compliance & Safety: Ensure all electrical designs meet relevant industry standards, local codes, and safety regulations.Qualifications & SkillsExperience: Proven track record as an Electrical Engineer, specifically working with critical power infrastructure or industrial power distribution.Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on knowledge of:MV and LV distribution systemsSwitchgear and standby generatorsUPS systems and associated battery cabinetsEmergency lighting systems and door access controlEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related technical field is preferred.Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
