Have an immediate impact and grow your career at the same time!Job Summary: The Associate Management Consultant will support the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) in a variety of tasks that support CISA’s overall mission to reduce and manage cyber risk. Tasks will involve knowledge management support, business process improvement and communications efforts related to acquisition and budget activities centered around management of cybersecurity contracts.Primary ResponsibilitiesWrite, format, or review/edit reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other project documentationDraft and maintain standard operating proceduresDraft fact sheets and success storiesTrack milestones and maintain project trackers Identify, recommend, and implement business process improvements to streamline and standardize project activitiesAssist with conducting interviews with project stakeholdersProvide daily program and operations support by coordinating tasks, documenting issues and action items, supporting meetings, and developing program briefs and talking pointsOrganize and maintain files and content on SharePoint using lists and other SharePoint toolsDraft email communications messages for various project rolloutsProvide meeting planning, notetaking and logistics supportRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degreeUp to 3 years of experience (preferably in management consulting)Experience supporting project managers with organizing and tracking document review, tracking and adhering to project schedules, adjudicating comments, creating and editing slide presentations, creating and following SOPs, and notetaking Solid skills in Excel to create and manipulate spreadsheets, filter data, format tables and charts Familiarity with, or ability to quickly learn, information and collaboration technologies, including Microsoft Planner, Teams, and SharePoint to evaluate, create, store, and communicate information.Excellent oral and written communication/presentation skills.Strong cultural fit and value alignment with Lafayette Group, Inc.Ability to attain a U.S. government public trust and/or security clearance, if required.Desired QualificationsCurrent DHS or CISA Entry on Duty (EOD) statusExperience with Microsoft SharePointBasic knowledge of federal contracting/procurement Experience and/or interest in homeland security and cybersecurity/IT programs and conceptsFederal Contracts: This position involves working on federal contracts that require all workers on the contract to be U.S. Citizens. Additionally, some contracts may require the ability to obtain a security clearance.Salary Range: $55K - $65KLGI carefully considers various factors when determining salary, including but not limited to education and training, professional experience, knowledge, skills and competencies, licensure and certifications, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. New employees are not usually hired at the top of the estimated salary range and salary decisions depend on the circumstances and factors for each case.
