In-room dining guests can order off the full menu from the comfort of their own hotel room.Banquet CaptainA Banquet Captain at Lakehouse Resort is responsible for overseeing the execution of banquet events, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and guests have an exceptional experience. This role involves coordinating with the banquet staff and serving as the primary point of contact for event hosts.Key Responsibilities: Welcoming guests upon their arrival and assisting them with their seating arrangements.Setting up and managing staff shifts and timetables.Developing and providing staff with the necessary training, including customer service, serving etiquette, and company standards.Running the floor and coordinating the food and drink service by liaising with the kitchen and service staff.Monitoring the inventory of supplies, equipment, and furniture.Ensuring that the venue and facilities remain neat and clean.Act as the main point of contact for event hosts and guests, promptly addressing any questions, concerns, or special requests.Ensuring that all applicable safety regulations are communicated and adhered to.Always maintain a composed and professional attitude.Qualifications: Excellent leadership abilities and the ability to manage many staff members.Great time management and multitasking abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.The ability to provide an excellent level of customer service, even in stressful situations.Willingness to work long hours, irregular shifts, and on weekends and holidays.Must be organized and able to multi-task.Can perform high-quality work while unsupervised.Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners.Ability to lift, balance, and move large food trays, weighing up to 35 lbs.
