Travel Respiratory Therapist

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU/PICU and Level 1 Trauma experience for a night shift assignment requiring Epic EMR proficiency.Job Details• Position is based in a hospital respiratory care department,• Serves neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients including those in NICU and PICU Level 3 or 4 units,• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week,• Level 1 Trauma environment,• Uses ventilators, respiratory therapy and blood gas analysis equipment,• Epic charting experience required,Job Requirements• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy required,• Minimum 1 year of relevant respiratory care experience including NICU/PICU and trauma setting,• Active Illinois RCP license required if applicable,• NBRC Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT),• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required,• Demonstrated experience with Epic EMR,• Experience providing care in Level 1 Trauma and NICU Level 3 or 4 required,Additional Information• Clean, prepare, evaluate, and manage all respiratory care equipment,• Document assessments, interventions, and charges in Epic EMR,• Provide respiratory therapy to patients in inpatient units and emergency room,• Analyze arterial, venous, and capillary blood gases,• Recommend further intervention or referrals as needed,• No local candidates accepted; must live at least 50 miles from facility,• RTO not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract,• Compliance requirements for background and drug screening with specific vendor; allow at least 2 weeks for processing,
