AI DeveloperPosition SummaryWe are seeking a hands-on AI Developer to build, enhance, and support artificial intelligence solutions that drive innovation and operational efficiency across the organization. This role will focus on developing AI-powered applications, integrating generative AI capabilities into business processes, and creating scalable solutions using Microsoft Azure's AI ecosystem.The ideal candidate is a strong software developer with experience in Python, Azure cloud technologies, APIs, and modern AI frameworks. This individual should be passionate about leveraging AI to solve business challenges and delivering production-ready solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and deploy AI-powered applications and services.Build Generative AI solutions using Azure OpenAI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and prompt engineering techniques.Develop and maintain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions utilizing enterprise data sources.Create intelligent chatbots, copilots, virtual assistants, and workflow automation solutions.Develop APIs and backend services to support AI applications and integrations.Integrate AI capabilities into existing business applications, ERP systems, and operational workflows.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Work with structured and unstructured data to support AI model performance and business use cases.Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of AI solutions.Troubleshoot and optimize AI applications for performance, reliability, and scalability.Follow security, governance, and responsible AI practices throughout the development lifecycle.Stay current on emerging AI technologies, tools, and development frameworks.Required Qualifications3+ years of software development experience.Strong proficiency in Python development.Experience building cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure.Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, or similar AI platforms.Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and Generative AI concepts.Experience with SQL databases and data integration.Familiarity with Git, source control, and modern software development practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsExperience building AI copilots, chatbots, or conversational AI applications.Experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar AI frameworks.Experience implementing RAG architectures and vector database solutions.Knowledge of Azure Machine Learning and MLOps practices.Experience integrating AI solutions with ERP, manufacturing, operational, or enterprise systems.Familiarity with Power Platform, Power Automate, or Microsoft Copilot Studio.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-native application development.Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate or related certifications.Technical EnvironmentMicrosoft AzureAzure OpenAIAzure AI ServicesPythonREST APIsSQL Server / Relational DatabasesGit / Azure DevOpsGenerative AILarge Language Models (LLMs)Prompt EngineeringRAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)Vector DatabasesLangChain / Semantic Kernel (Preferred)What Success Looks LikeDeliver AI applications that improve productivity, automation, and decision-making.Successfully deploy and support AI solutions in production environments.Develop scalable, maintainable, and secure applications aligned with business objectives.Collaborate effectively with business and technical teams to accelerate AI adoption.Contribute to the organization's growing AI capabilities and innovation initiatives.
