Assembler
*SUMMARY:*
Performs a variety of repetitive operations to assemble precision Electro-mechanical products or mechanical subassemblies where methods and sequence of assembly are clearly written and described.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Uses various common hand tools and power assisted assembly tools.
* May operate automatic and semiautomatic assembly equipment.
* Performs a variety of production and manufacturing processes, such as staging production assembly parts, and manually installing key tops, switches, levers, and wires.
* Exercises responsibility for quantity and quality of parts.
* Operates various production assembly machines and may use hand tools to assemble products.
* Visually inspects parts to standards. Returns flawed products to Production for reworking.
* Packs finished product.
* Performs routine preventative maintenance.
* Reads and interprets basic engineering drawings, specifications, bills of material, and operating procedures.
*Education and/ or experience:*
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent to 6-12 months of related experience and /or training.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
